It’s official. The company has officially revealed the new OnePlus Watch together with the launch of the new 9 and 9 Pro phones.

Long awaited and rumoured for, the watch has been surfacing the web for well over a year. Together with that, the company even had a successfully working prototype all the way back in 2016. Now this is finally reality, together with the latest flagship devices.

OnePlus Watch Specs

Available from April 26, the Watch will cost 159€/$159 and will be available in two colour choices: Midnight Black and Midnight Silver. There also will be a limited Cobalt edition.

The watch screen is a 1.39 inch AMOLED with a resolution of 454×454 at a PPI of 326. The enclosure will measure 46.4×46.4mm x 10.9mm and weigh 76g  for the classic edition and 67g for the limited cobalt edition (both 45g without strap).

Watch software and features

This time, the OnePlus Watch won’t have Wear OS, but rather a custom software introducing a nice mix of general smartwatch features. It covers everything from notification mirroring and responding, calls on watch, local music playback to Bluetooth. It can even connect to the OnePlus TV and act as a remote, allowing you to automatically lower the volume when receiving a call, or turning the TV if you fall asleep.

The OnePlus Watch let’s you choose from more than 50 watchfaces, and some of them can be customized to be based on your phone’s design.
