OnePlus had enough, with so many leaks and rumours around the companies latest flagship phone, the OnePlus 9 Pro, it was time to reveal the official phone. Ahead of it’s launch.

Even though, the official release date of the new flagship was scheduled for the 23rd of March 2021, a simple tweet by the company revealed it’s official design with a teaser for what’s coming on March 23.

Further information can be found on the official account leaking even more information.

In the post, it’s revealed the latest flagship phone will feature a 120hz screen with 10bit colour, 8192 brightness levels and flexible LPTO display technology. The refresh rate of the phone is supposed to be “smart”, giving us a hint, that it has an adaptive screen to save battery and give the best performance.

A few days ago OnePlus also confirmed that the camera technology will be built by Hasselblad.

Now we know the look, the screen and a colour of the OnePlus 9 Pro. The silver colour is called “Morning Mist” and is inspired by the “calming glow of mist at dawn”.

Very interesting. To me personally it looks more or less silver.

What’s still missing from the full reveal are officially confirmed specs of the phone. The official website does not disclose anything. However, public data from the benchmarking tool Geekbench has shown a device called the OnePlus LE2125, which is believed to be the OnePlus 9 Pro. The OnePlus 9, without Pro, would then be the LE2115.

If this turns out to be true, the specs of the OnePlus 9 and the Pro, as far as we know, would look like this:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 888
  • 12 GB RAM
